At Dun Dara Agri, we're built on real-world farming knowledge and a deep understanding of what Irish farmers actually need. Founded in April 2025, we exist to bridge the gap between quality agricultural products and the people who depend on them.

Our Founder

Dun Dara Agri was established by Shane Kehoe, who brings over a decade of hands-on experience in the agricultural sector. Shane's journey started with a solid educational foundation – a Level 7 Dairy Herd Management degree from Kildalton Agricultural College and a Level 7 Horticultural degree from Blanchardstown IT – giving him both the practical and technical knowledge that defines our approach today.

Experience That Matters

Shane's career has been shaped by working directly with farmers and understanding their challenges firsthand. He spent three years in sales with Osmonds On Farm Business Ltd, followed by four years at Pharvet, and another four years with AHV Ireland. This 11-year journey through Ireland's leading agricultural suppliers gave him an invaluable perspective: he saw what worked, what didn't, and most importantly, where farmers were being let down.

Beyond his industry experience, Shane understands farming from the ground up - he runs a suckler beef and sheep farm alongside his mother and father. This hands-on farming background means he doesn't just sell products; he uses them, tests them, and truly understands the daily realities Irish farmers face.
